Queen (Character-Type)

The Queen is a type of character role in any story, fictional or non-fictional. The character-type is any female holding the ruling rank in monarchy. This character type is most prominent in fictional stories. The age often ranges between young adult to elderly. Rare instances in stories have children become queens unless unexpectedly promoted to the title in the event of an untimely death of a parent monarch.
